This survey is a Colorado Clinical Translational Sciences Institute-funded effort among the University of Colorado, the Colorado State University, and Tri-County Health Department to understand emerging environmental health priorities across Colorado. This spring  local environmental professionals were surveyed  to learn about priority environmental health issues, local capacity to manage and respond to changing conditions, and related management and prevention partnerships.  The survey also aimed to identify gaps in statewide and local environmental health tracking and opportunities to strengthen the environmental monitoring network for local health departments. Survey responses will provide valuable Information for researchers in order to generate knowledge about key environmental health priorities in Colorado and use this information as a foundation for informing environmental tracking priorities at the state and local levels.
